Tracking your game statistics through the individual game scoring feature on the mobile app is for personal reference only. Any games scored by the mobile app will show up as unofficial. Padding your statistics will not help you understand your game trends or your strengths and weaknesses.
When you are scored by the 6-8 Game Desk iPad app your games will show up as official. That's because the Game Desk is only used at official games or tournaments and the data is verified.
